The Tech Pathways MENA is a regional initiative designed to fast-track AI adoption and digital skills development across Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, or the UAE. Intersect Innovation Hub is proud to be one of the program implementing partners in Palestine. Through Intersect, the program aims to upskill 400 individuals, with a special focus on youth, women, freelancers, teachers, job seekers, and underserved communities.

The initiative is led by Village Capital with the support from Google.org, MinnaLearn, and the University of Helsinki’s “Elements of AI for Business” curriculum. The program empowers individuals with future-proof skills and creates stronger, more resilient local ecosystems.

The program is open to Palestinians with no or minimal tech background, eager to explore AI and improve their digital capacity. Especially:

• Job seekers and recent graduates 

• Freelancers working remotely

• School Teachers

• Early-stage entrepreneurs

• Individuals impacted by the war on Gaza Strip or the West Bank

Divided to two track:

• Track 1: 75% of participants

• Track 2: 25% of participants

• No prior AI Knowledge required

• Basic digital Skills

• Openness to attending 1-3 workshops on-site or online (Optional)

• Open Mindset

The course is hosted on MinnaLearn platform consisting of 4 learning modules:

• Module 1: What is AI?

• Module 2: Machine Learning

• Module 3: Neural Networks

• Module 4: AI Implications

• Track 1: 1-6 Weeks of learning.

• Track 2: 5-6 weeks of learning.

Track 1 - Learn on Your Own (Completely Self-paced)

• Self Study: Access to the “Elements of AI for Business” course in Arabic or English.

• Invitation to Info Webinars.

• Optional support, through occasional office hours & virtual check-ins.

Track 2 - Learn With Peers!

(Same Materials, partially self-paced, with Extra Support!)

• Self Study: Access to the “Elements of AI for Business” course in Arabic and English

• Invitation to Info Webinars

• 3 workshops with peers

• Extra support, through weekly office hours & virtual check-ins

• Live mentoring, milestone tracking, and peer learning

• Extra logistics support
